AngloGold to Increase Worker Pay
By wug on Tuesday, 1st December 2009AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. will pay Ghana workers 12 percent more this year and 10 percent more next year after reaching a settlement agreement yesterday with the Ghana Mineworkers Union, Alan Fine, AngloGold’s spokesman, said.
The company will increase pay by another 10 percent in 2011, Fine said.
